I am a passionate camper myself. And at some point the same question kept bothering me: why is it so hard to find genuinely special places, and why do longer stays so often mean digging through websites, writing emails and waiting for a price?

Why Campavia exists
For me camping is more than a pitch. It is the people, the places and the feeling of really arriving somewhere for a few days or weeks.
That is exactly why I did not want to build yet another platform that puts every car park on a map. Campavia is meant to show places you are happy to stay at: classic campsites just as much as small fincas, wineries and remarkable hosts.
And because travel is international, language should not be a barrier. With modern translation technology campers and hosts can write to each other even when their mother tongues differ.
Pay directly, without detours
We wanted paying to stay close to the real camping experience too: the guest pays the host directly. Campavia invoices its service separately. Simple, transparent and personal.
Staying longer is often the better way to travel
Staying longer usually means fewer moves, fewer drives and more time for one place. That is good for you, for the campsite and for the region.
We do not promise miracles. But every night you stay instead of driving on saves kilometres, and every euro you pay directly to the host stays local.
A weekend or a whole winter
Sometimes a weekend is all you need. Sometimes you want to stay a whole winter. Campavia should do both.
For longer stays we add something that is often missing: clear monthly rates, available months and the information that actually matters for four weeks or more.
